Gimbal FeiyuTech SPG 2 for Smartphones

FeiyuTech SPG 2 is a gimbal that not only allows you to easily obtain a perfectly smooth, vibration-free shot, but also supports advanced sound recording techniques on your smartphone. Intelligent anti-shake algorithms and state-of-the-art brushless motors guarantee smoothness and stability, thanks to which the operator can easily achieve the intended effect.

SPG 2 offers five different stabilization modes that allow you to adjust the characteristics of the device to the current needs.

• Panning mode - in this mode the smartphone smoothly follows the rotational movement of the holder, while maintaining a fixed position in relation to the horizon line.
• Lock mode - the phone's lens remains constant - the rotation on all axes is locked in the set position.
• Tracking mode - in this mode, the camera's camera smoothly follows the handle's rotation and up-down.
• Multi-axis tracking mode - the smartphone's lens smoothly follows the movement of the gimbal holder in all three axes.
• Fast response mode - the camera follows the swivel movement of the holder quickly, while maintaining a fixed position in relation to the horizon line.

In addition to the five basic operating modes, the gimbal offers the autopanorama function in which you can program the camera rotation between the selected positions. Programmable time and range of motion allow you to create breathtaking time-laps and panoramas.

Gimbal offers two ways of working with the smartphone in a vertical position. The first of them is triggered by a combination of function keys and allows you to quickly switch from horizontal position to vertical position and vice versa. The second will please supporters of longer work in portrait mode. By permanently adjusting the gimbal mounting bracket to a vertical position, we gain a much larger range of motion.

Controlling the device is simple and intuitive. Switching between operating modes and stabilizer functions takes place via two function buttons. Their ergonomic arrangement on the gimbal holder under the index finger and thumb ensures quick access at all times. Precise control over gimabala moves, however, a four-way joystick and an innovative multifunctional knob. After combining the gimbal with the smartphone, you can also control the zoom and camera operation parameters using the dial. Thanks to the button of the shutter button, it is possible to take pictures and start / end movie recording from the stabilizer. The menu button allows you to quickly change the mode of the connected camera without having to touch the smartphone screen.

Convenient navigating through working modes and numerous gimbal functions is ensured by a clear OLED display located just above the joystick. The display informs about, among other things, the operating mode, battery charge status and connected devices. High contrast and bright backlight make the display extremely clear despite its small size.

For users of smartphones with Android and iOS systems, the manufacturer has prepared the Feiyu ON mobile application. It gives the user access to additional functions, such as face or object tracking, creating panoramic photos, creating timelapses or videos in slow-motion. They also allow adjusting the working parameters of the gimbal to your recording equipment, by setting appropriate engine power and reaction speed. The application is in Polish - it is being developed all the time.

Thanks to two parallel transmission channels BT FeiyuTech SPG 2 provides full support for dedicated mobile applications, while using an external microphone. Gimbal is equipped with a 3.5 millimeter mini jack (TRRS - compatible with audio devices intended for smartphones). The applied solution guarantees access to high quality sound, without the necessity of giving up smartphone service from the gimbal level. In addition, thanks to the two-channel BT, it is possible to listen to the recorded material during operation.

The arms and structural elements of the stabilizer are made of high quality aluminum alloy, thanks to which the device is durable and extremely light - only 440 g (without battery). To ensure a secure grip SPG 2 handle has been covered with a rubber, non-slip material, and the sealed gimbal construction allows you to work in any conditions, without worrying about splashes or dust. Minimalist design and a black, matt finish gives gimbal a professional, yet discreet, unobtrusive appearance.

The SPG 2 power source is a 26650 battery with a high capacity of 5000 mAh, which, with a good balance of the gimbal, allows for a long, even 14-hour operation of the device. The gimbal energy cell can also be used as an additional power source for the smartphone (even during filming). In addition, the battery in the container can be charged using any phone charger, equipped with a micro USB plug.

The SPG 2 holder is equipped with two standard tripod mounts, enabling mounting the gimbal on a tripod or connecting additional accessories, such as a microphone, a lamp or a telescopic arm.

Comfortable and safe transport of the gimbal together with accessories provides the stiffened suitcase included in the set.
