The 504X head is a new version of the most popular Manfrotto professional video head - 504HD. Enriched with modern technologies and solutions, the 504X meets the requirements of professional filmmakers.

The smoothness of the movement of the 504X head is based on the latest technology developed by Manfrotto. It provides the most smooth, jump-free and jerky-free movement in both axes - tilting and panning. Each of these axes also has an independent resistance adjustment, which allows you to adjust its strength to the equipment and individual preferences.
For even greater comfort of camera operation, the 504X head is equipped with a counterweight system. It allows you to balance the weight of the equipment, which means that tilting the camera movement requires less force. The counterbalance system can be set to one of 4 steps *: off / 2.2 kg / 4.4 kg / 6.5 kg. Thanks to the adjustment, it is possible to cooperate with a wide range of cameras and camcorders.

The head structure is compact and designed in accordance with Manfrotto's Bridging Technology. The use of this technology reduces the weight of the head compared to traditional, monolithic structures, without reducing its strength and functionality. The 504X also has a flat base, so it can be mounted not only on video stands, but also on sliders, taps, etc. It can handle the camera with accessories with a total weight of up to 12 Kg.
Additional accessories such as a monitor or lighting can be attached to the arms that connect to the head through special Easy Link sockets. You can screw in arms with a 3/8 '' screw, but they will work even better with antirotation systems from Manfrotto or Arri. Thanks to them, the compatible arm, locked in any position, will not unscrew by itself.

The 504X has a sliding plate that can be quickly and easily clicked in from above, without tedious fitting and insertion. The illuminated spirit level allows for easy and correct setting of the horizon, even in a dark studio.
