Yongnuo YN 100 mm f / 2.0 is a prime, short telephoto lens with high brightness dedicated to portrait photographers. The lens is equipped with a Nikon F mount.

The 100mm lens offers a narrow angle of view ideal for reportage, studio and portrait photography. The long focal length significantly shortens the perspective, emphasizing the subject of the photo and creating a wonderful bokeh (blurring the background). The offered zoom allows the photographer to take pictures from a certain distance without interacting with the photographed model.

A large relative aperture guarantees more light reaching the matrix. This allows faster shutter speeds, even in poor lighting conditions. A wide range of aperture settings (in the range from f / 2.0 to f / 22) allows comfortable and precise control over the depth of field. The maximum aperture (f / 2.0) is a shallow depth that allows you to emphasize the main theme of the photo by blurring the background. An aperture value of f / 22 allows you to capture more details of the photographed scene and maintain sharpness on all planes.

Yongnuo YN 100 mm f / 2.0 is equipped with a modern autofocus system (AF) facilitating quick and precise focusing. The AF / MF switch located on the side of the housing allows you to switch to manual focus mode whenever you need manual focusing control. Working with the lens is also facilitated by a clear depth of field scale. Minimum focus distance is 0.9 meters.

The optical construction of the Yongnuo YN 100 mm f / 2.0 consists of 8 elements arranged in 6 groups. The lens works with both full-frame matrices and cameras equipped with APS-C matrices (taking into account the focal length multiplier). The thread on the front of the lens allows the installation of filters with a diameter of 58 mm.

The built-in micro USB port allows you to update the lens firmware to make it fully compatible with the latest camera bodies.
